Getting Gardening Information

You can locate YouTube on the web at :
If you have never done so, get on to the site and in the search box that appears, type in the subject that you want to explore. For example:
1. “how to grow tomatoes in Australia”. Upon activating this search you will see a collection of videos to view.
Time alone will determine how long you will spend on YouTube. You could spend days, viewing videos on a whole range of subjects … not necessarily related to gardening.
However, since this website of ours is focused on gardening practices, you will have a host of related topics to investigate … found within YouTube.

Newcastle City Council website … www.newcastle.nsw.gov.au/placemaking/community gardens
Upon going online on the site, you will find information under “Community Gardens”, with links to many of the city’s community gardens.
C. Wikipedia :
Is a free encyclopaedia and a useful tool for learning about plants, and organisms related to gardening.
D. Gardening Australia on ABC TV
Look up www.abc.net.au/programs/
Look under FIND PROGRAMS … the vegie guide; the vegie patch ; etc
You will find some amazing material to increase your knowledge !!!
E. Talking to fellow gardeners … sharing information.
F. Visiting other gardens … especially as a group on an outing.
